That’s right, we said the new “2018” CR-V. According to automotive industry pundits, Honda plans to begin selling the all-new CR-V crossover SUV sometime in 2017 as a 2018 model.
The recently spied new 2018 Honda CR-V promises to be an evolution of one of America’s top-selling crossover SUVs, adding more interior space, a new turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, an updated cabin, stiffer chassis, a longer wheelbase, and a more aerodynamic exterior.
Award-Winning SUV Heritage
Honda engineers know well enough not to mess too much with a successful formula. After all, the 2015 Honda CR-V won Motor Trend’s prestigious “SUV of the Year” honors, so don’t expect any dramatic changes in the new 5th generation model.
