Honda stole the spotlight at the 2016 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit with the brand-new 2016 Honda Civic taking top honors as the newly named “2016 North American Car of the Year.”
New 2016 Civic Wins It All
More than 50 independent automotive journalists from around the world voted to give the Detroit Auto Show’s top prize to the new Civic. According to the NAIAS, “The awards are designed to recognize the most outstanding new vehicles of the year. These vehicles are benchmarks in their segments based on factors including innovation, comfort, design, safety, handling, driver satisfaction and value for the dollar.”
